. winter drumline

. The drumline has had a very successful season. Their show was "Prince of the Pagodas". Mr. Knob was the drum instructor, along with help from Mr. Hostilo, Mr. Lovell, and Mr. Mann. The line consisted of 10 people and only 2 were actually percussionist. The rest were members of the band and played wind instruments. The line was also very young. There was one senior, two juniors, and the rest were sophomores and freshmen. The line did not see this as a problem and still performed to the best of their ability. Hopkinsville's concert percussion open class walked out of TSC Championships with and 91.4, in 2nd place out of 3, behind Elizabethtown by 3 points. Can't wait until next year you guys.

. winter guard

. The guard also had a successful year. Their show was "Dust in The Wind". Beating as many as 6 guards at competitions. The 2001 guard presented a look of beauty and elegance. While watching them perform you see their hearts performing, not their mind. Many people were very pleased with the outcome of this year. The guard walked out of TSC Championships with a 74.4, in 8th place out of 14. Way to go girls. It was a great way to finish the season.
