hey youse guyz! i don't think i can come up with as much to say as the
other elizabeth did, but i'll say what's on my heart. i love you guys very very VERY
much. band has become my second family, and i don't know what i'd do without you guys. i
know how talented each and every one of you is, and i just want you to succeed at what
you do. so basically what i'm saying is work hard, it pays off. there are soooooo many
things we can do differently, or actually start doing, to make ourselves rise to the
level that we want to be at. for me that level is a couple of different things: state
(of course), performing to the best of my abilities, making my family proud, and having
fun all at the same time. sounds like a lot, but when you put it all together, it's
very achievable. so i'm issuing this challenge to every one who is going to be in band
next year (8th graders and julie included)--this year, put 9364% (yes, that's nine
thousand three hundred sixty-four percent!
) into making the show what we want it to be. i know we can do it, but it will take
everyone's dedication and effort to do it. i'm here for anyone if they need help with
their music or just need someone to vent to. my number's 886-4590 if you ever need
anything. i love all of you guys and i can't wait til marching season! ^@^
